Sunday Morning Tune

My man was playing tunes yesterday morning and I couldn't help myself but to get this clip. He wasn't impressed as you can see.

We have had a great weekend. Richie rich came up from Christchurch to hang out for the weekend. We went and had a lovely meal with friends at Stella and even had breakfast there the next day. We listened to the police scanner a lot it was pretty crazy for them here this weekend. I got my tarot out and gave Rich a reading which was fun as I haven't had them out for ages. It's weird when I was in Auckland and Rotorua I was always doing readings but since coming to Wanganui I haven't spent much time doing them, only doing them for my close friends when they are in need of some guidance.

I have finally cleaned up my house and it's looking great I put a sofa back in my office space, after many people complaining that they didn't have anywhere to sit and that it didn't feel like my office anymore. I have been racking my head of what to paint next and I have lots of ideas just trying to figure out which one to do first. I have still been working on the big canvas I started last week but I do need to go down and get some more paint before I can finish it.

Ness and the kids came up the other day and Leah has no front teeth as you can see from this picture. I have borrowed her camera and have been having been enjoyed having a camera again. Shaughan just said lets go to Palmy I'm excited as I can pop my camera in to be fixed yayayayay!

Hopefully we will have time to look at the pet shop to see what sort of fish we should get for our tank. I'm going to make it the coolest fish tank in Wanganui. I have been thinking about it heaps and have some funky ideas to make it very unique.

My message for the day was: Ask for as many of us (angels) as you like to be with you; there is no shortage!

Have a beautiful day x x

Art Every Day Month Day 9 - Numbers

11 RULES FOR LIFE ONE - Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully. TWO - Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other. THREE - Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want. FOUR -  When you say, "I love you," mean it. FIVE - When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye. SIX - Be engaged at least six months before you get married. SEVEN - Believe in love at first sight. EIGHT - Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much. NINE - Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely. TEN - In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling. ELEVEN - Don't judge people by their relatives. NUMBERS Numbers play a huge role in my life not one day goes past where I won't see sets of three or more numbers. It started at the clock I started s...

I Wanted to Be an Artist, So I Quit My Job and Became One

I had to share this article with you today, if I wrote something like this it would sound just the same... I Wanted to Be an Artist, So I Quit My Job and Became One by Christopher Fife. "Hi, I'm Christopher. I'm an artist." Exhale, run my fingers through my hair. "What do I do? Oh, I paint. I'm a painter. Yeah, I'm an artist." I tried it out every now and then, in front of the bathroom mirror. It sounded all right. But when I introduced myself as an artist outside my bathroom world of make-believe, I always felt false. I was like Magritte labeling a pipe. If I said I was an artist, I was an artist, right? Not exactly. Since I dedicated forty-plus hours a week to my corporate graphic design job, I was lucky if I painted a couple of hours a week. I came to despise myself for this self-deceit, for my inability to embrace what I really wanted to be. I wanted to be an artist. So I committed myself to becoming one. I started out like most people ...
