What a week!

My life has been total madness. I can always tell when things are crazy cause I don't write in my blog and my house looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a month. My mission for today, cleaning the house.

Our exhibition 'Our Love' went off with a bang! We had loads of people come and join us our local MP came which was a nice as he is a lovely man and we are lucky to have him here in Wanganui! Bobby came up from Wellington which was heaven sent as he helped us a lot. Thanks Bobby. We are all talking about having an exhibition next year, the three of us with Bobby in Wellington. I can't wait to get to a bigger town to show off our styles. Maybe it could be New York the next year after that? ROCK ON!

Rere did well in the exhibition and sold 3 of her pieces. We all had great feedback so we are very happy with our efforts Click here to read our story and see the online exhibition, bear in mind the photos don't do justice for the paintings.

After the exhibition opening we headed up here and didn't finish up till early in the morning, singing while the boys were rocking out on the instruments it was a good night. Lots of people hadn't been here before and they all couldn't believe their eyes. We have a very cool home!

One chic that came up, I had meet a few weeks ago cause she had a beautiful dog and I couldn't help myself from going to talk to her. When I walked away I said to Shaughan they were cool I hope we get to meet them again and lucky me she walked into my home a few weeks later. I love my life. Ever since I was little I always thought I had a direct dial to God and he always gave me what I wanted. Thank you God.

I got through to the top 24 in the nescafe design a cup competition, they are taking public votes you can visit the website and vote for my design 'The Promise of the universe is LOVE' just click here. While you are there you can go in the draw for $5000. Best of luck.

I haven't even had time to clean out my new fish tank. I'm hoping to head over to Palmy in the next week or two, so I can go check out the pet stores over there and get some fish. I have heaps to do over in Palmy and was going to go there yesterday but I have run out of time. Get this one of my best friends bought a house maybe a year ago and I have never been there, she is also on my list! And to get my camera fixed I can't wait to get my camera fixed I had to borrow my sisters as I'm going to go and take some photos 2mora for the Wanganui website.

I'm going to see Sue Nicholson 2mora night with Ness, Audrey and Bubs it will be fun. I have never gone to a show like this before and don't really know what to expect. The advert says to take things along of people that you would like to contact. I'm wearing Gran's ring so we will see if she says hello. I must take tissues as I can see myself getting a bit emotional even over other peoples messages, it touches my heart and makes me cry!

My message for the day was: Never worry about calling upon us because you fear that your need is not "big enough" or that one of us might be busy. We want to help you with everything, large or small.

I just want to send some love to Bex and ask God to help her with her health issues. x x x

Better get cracking and take Ralph for a walk.

Have a beautiful day x

Art Every Day Month Day 13 - Basic Colour Theory

An understanding of the basics of colour theory is essential for every artist and increases the possibilities for your work. Colours are, after all, one of the basic tools of painting. Here are some of the things I have learnt. The Colour Wheel Most color wheels are based on three primary colours, three secondary colours, and the six intermediates formed by mixing a primary with a secondary, known as tertiary colours, for a total of 12 main divisions; some add more intermediates, for 24 named colors like this one.  Primary colours:  Are the three colours that cannot be created by mixing other colours together  - red, yellow, and blue. Secondary colours:  A secondary colour is made by mixing two primary colours together: red and yellow to get orange, yellow and blue to get green, or red and blue to get purple. The secondary colour depends on the proportion in which you mix the two primaries. For example, if you add more red than yellow, you get a reddish orange,...

Art Every Day Month Day 9 - Numbers

11 RULES FOR LIFE ONE - Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully. TWO - Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other. THREE - Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want. FOUR -  When you say, "I love you," mean it. FIVE - When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye. SIX - Be engaged at least six months before you get married. SEVEN - Believe in love at first sight. EIGHT - Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much. NINE - Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely. TEN - In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling. ELEVEN - Don't judge people by their relatives. NUMBERS Numbers play a huge role in my life not one day goes past where I won't see sets of three or more numbers. It started at the clock I started s...

Art Every Day Month Day 5 - A mellow day for me.

Last night I was thought it would be fun to do different things everyday, to keep my blog interesting. I had high hopes of doing my creativity outside today but because of a snotty nose and sore eyes, I won't be venturing out there. I am going to keep it pretty simple today and create fractals. What is a fractal? A  fractal  is "a rough or fragmented  geometric shape  that can be split into parts, each of which is (at least approximately) a reduced-size copy of the whole," [1]  a property called  self-similarity . Roots of mathematically rigorous treatment of fractals can be traced back to functions studied by  Karl Weierstrass ,  Georg Cantor  and  Felix Hausdorff  in studying functions that were  continuous  but not  differentiable ; however, the term fractal  was coined by  BenoĆ®t Mandelbrot  in 1975 and was derived from the  Latin   fractus  meaning "brok...
