Day 09- Something you’re proud of in the past few days

I'm really proud of my little girl and how well she is doing at speaking, she is growing up fast. This evening she did a rolly poly totally out of the blue, she was so excited that she did more and loved it. Also I'm proud of my husbands New Years resolutions!

We had New Years Eve with Rere, Tony and Jane

Tony and I saw the space lab rocking through the stars for the first time. He wanted to see a UFO but I think he was still pretty happy to have seen that. I'm a little bit weary after my night and need a good sleep! It had been a long time since I had a few and a half drinks I LOVED IT :)

My Youtube clips of the day is FIREWORKS from 2011 celebrations

My card for the day was opportunity to forgive
heal, grow and release negative patterns

Art Every Day Month Day 13 - Basic Colour Theory

An understanding of the basics of colour theory is essential for every artist and increases the possibilities for your work. Colours are, after all, one of the basic tools of painting. Here are some of the things I have learnt. The Colour Wheel Most color wheels are based on three primary colours, three secondary colours, and the six intermediates formed by mixing a primary with a secondary, known as tertiary colours, for a total of 12 main divisions; some add more intermediates, for 24 named colors like this one.  Primary colours:  Are the three colours that cannot be created by mixing other colours together  - red, yellow, and blue. Secondary colours:  A secondary colour is made by mixing two primary colours together: red and yellow to get orange, yellow and blue to get green, or red and blue to get purple. The secondary colour depends on the proportion in which you mix the two primaries. For example, if you add more red than yellow, you get a reddish orange,...

Art Every Day Month Day 9 - Numbers

11 RULES FOR LIFE ONE - Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully. TWO - Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other. THREE - Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want. FOUR -  When you say, "I love you," mean it. FIVE - When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye. SIX - Be engaged at least six months before you get married. SEVEN - Believe in love at first sight. EIGHT - Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much. NINE - Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely. TEN - In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling. ELEVEN - Don't judge people by their relatives. NUMBERS Numbers play a huge role in my life not one day goes past where I won't see sets of three or more numbers. It started at the clock I started s...

Art Every Day Month Day 5 - A mellow day for me.

Last night I was thought it would be fun to do different things everyday, to keep my blog interesting. I had high hopes of doing my creativity outside today but because of a snotty nose and sore eyes, I won't be venturing out there. I am going to keep it pretty simple today and create fractals. What is a fractal? A  fractal  is "a rough or fragmented  geometric shape  that can be split into parts, each of which is (at least approximately) a reduced-size copy of the whole," [1]  a property called  self-similarity . Roots of mathematically rigorous treatment of fractals can be traced back to functions studied by  Karl Weierstrass ,  Georg Cantor  and  Felix Hausdorff  in studying functions that were  continuous  but not  differentiable ; however, the term fractal  was coined by  Benoît Mandelbrot  in 1975 and was derived from the  Latin   fractus  meaning "brok...
