Art Every Day Month Day 9 - Numbers

ONE - Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
TWO - Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
THREE - Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
FOUR -  When you say, "I love you," mean it.
FIVE - When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye.
SIX - Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
SEVEN - Believe in love at first sight.
EIGHT - Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
NINE - Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
TEN - In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
ELEVEN - Don't judge people by their relatives.

Numbers play a huge role in my life not one day goes past where I won't see sets of three or more numbers. It started at the clock I started seeing 5:55pm, 3:33pm all the time, then I noticing triple numbers on car license plates, phone numbers and now they are everywhere.

I use numbers to help me get through the day; I know what is going to happen before it happens just by being aware of the numbers and their meaning. If I see 555 I know it is going to be a free spirit day and always have fun, if I see 111 it's likely something new will enter into my life.

Tomorrow see how many triple numbers you see and with the list of words that go with the number see if you can guess what will be around the corner for you.

Here are a few number paintings I have painted with their meanings
New beginnings, leadership, confidence, strength, new ideas, self sufficiency, whole, ambitious, & seeking perfection.
Peace, loving, charming, romantic, social, humor, open to change, balance, faithful, warm, & an ideal partner
Joy for life, enthusiastic, action, gain new skills, awareness, good communication, childlike innocence, outgoing, playfulness, the ability to get over things quickly, open to opportunity, & imaginative
Get things done , hard work, manage stress, loyal, loving, build good foundations, boundaries, serious, focus on success, tradition, ambition, be honest with your partner, security, & avoid unnecessary conflict

Freedom, light and fluffiness, choice, bold, daring, search for new opportunities, try it all, & enjoy the finer things in life

Warm, find safety and comfort, happy being domestic, reliable, opinionated, be careful not be used, nurture, & take care of loved ones.
Spiritually inclined, unique special number, eccentric, support, Jesus number, discover, faith, belief, alone, deep thinking, & extra help is around, ask for it.
Take control, lucky, relax its all good, abundance, forceful, good with money, accomplished, let no one stand in the way & be decisive.

Inspired, intuitive, creative, seeks to improve the world, needs to avoid bad habits, and attend to life's details, see the "big picture." dream the dream, community leadership, & organise small business owners.

A visionary, an artist, expands consciousness, avoid extremes, being too high strung, impractical, to be enlightened and to enlighten others, metaphysical small business with farreaching appeal.

The best book to read if you want to know more on Numerology is by far
Numerology, the Romance in Your Name by Dr Juno Jordan.

The Youtube clip for the day is about the number 11

My card for the day was MEDITATE

It said....this card is a call for you to meditate regularly. Your path, body, and soul are asking for quiet time to reflect, think, and receive insights. Even a small amount of time devoted to daily meditation will bring great gifts. You don't necessarily need any form of training in meditation. It is simply sitting quietly, closing your eyes, breathing and listening.

I'm off for the day, time to meditate x x x

Art Every Day Month Day 7 - Encaustic Wax

I'm really enjoying blogging again, it's been years since I have written everyday. I used to do morning pages before I got pregnant, I have heaps of books full of my dribble. The Artist Way by Julia Cameron got me into the morning pages! Every artist should own a copy of that book!
I was talking to a friend yesterday and she wanted me to order her a box of encaustic wax. I haven't done any encasutic for such a long time, so today was the day to dust off the cobwebs and get melting.
Here are my 2 creations for the day...

Releasing my MADNESS!

Getting more into it without distractions

Don't you love the texture wax makes!
I have been looking for my cutter cause this card is too big and I just can't find it anywhere.
Here are some other pieces I have done, in the past with encaustic wax.

This one was done with the iron on card.

Finally life is back to normal

Today is the first day in nearly 2 weeks that we have back our happy little singing girl. Nothing worse than a sick child! It makes you realise, on days like today, how lucky we have it.
I got a lot done today I started painting a series of affirmations paintings for our house. It will be nice to be surrounded in positive words when we need them. Called into the recycling centre and the supermarket. Gave shit to plummer Dan when he walked in on me cleaning the shower and chatted to the builder who is fixing our bathroom floor. Caught up with Chanz, Mum and Lyn. Got my 4 artist trading cards ready to send off 2mora for the next trade. Bought a Norfolk pine for our Christmas Tree, potted it in a lovely pot and decorated. I also split up one of my plants that I have wanted to do for sometime now but had ran out of potting mix. I got a shock when I drove into the Springvale Garden Centre it's FLASH! They have a kids play area, I have never been to a garden centre with a playground in …
