Busy Week!!!

I have been very productive this week and even started a new painting. I'm not sure what I'm going to call her yet but I think it will be lady?
In another few days I should have her finished? I have just started using oils on top of the acrylic so it may take a bit longer for me to wait until the oils dry.

Last night I finally updated my gallery in my website http://www.denitatizard.com/ so now it has a better range of my work in there. I have been wanting to do it for ages but being a mammoth job I put it off, like you do. I would still like to put descriptions of all the paintings but that will be another time.

I got stuck into uploading videos onto youtube www.youtube.com/paintpit that was fun. I have been playing around with my digital camera but there is something wrong with it so the clips come out all jolted I'm going to try and get it fixed soon.

I have been trying to find a ride up to Auckland this weekend and thought I had it sorted but the person has already gone so I might just have to wait and go up with the next change I get. It would be great to go and catch up with all my mates.

I went for a beautiful walk the other morning with Ralph and I captured the early morning colours. It was beautiful!!!!!! I love the crisp air in the mornings.

Our new addition to the family is doing well! He grows so quickly!!!! Vanessa is totally besotted with him. He sleeps most of the time so I don't get much time with him at the moment but I am looking forward to watching him grow into a strong and happy man. Just like the other kids. Ness really makes beautiful children!

My message for the day was: The pleasure you seek is attained the instant you allow yourself to enjoy the gift that is already given to you.

My Angel Card: Mystique

"Keep charging ahead, and don't take no for an answer. Expect miraculous solutions to appear."

"You are on the right path! Although it might seem to take a lot of time and effort, keep up the good work. You are definitely making progress toward your intended outcome. Sometimes flexibility is called for when you're working toward an aim. But in this instance, you need to stay firm in your conviction. Compromise will only water down the Divine plan that you're manifesting."

"Resist the urge to bend, or to please others. In the end, these individuals will be pleased by the outcome. You're following a Divine course, and others may not be privy to the same vision that you're following. Do your best to explain this vision to the others involved, but don't feel the need to defend your actions. Look at my picture. I am coming out of the darkness and into the light. So are you. You know what you're doing, and we in Heaven are here to back you up fully!"

Shaughan has just made me a coffee so till next time x x x x x

Art Every Day Month Day 9 - Numbers

11 RULES FOR LIFE ONE - Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully. TWO - Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other. THREE - Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want. FOUR -  When you say, "I love you," mean it. FIVE - When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye. SIX - Be engaged at least six months before you get married. SEVEN - Believe in love at first sight. EIGHT - Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much. NINE - Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely. TEN - In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling. ELEVEN - Don't judge people by their relatives. NUMBERS Numbers play a huge role in my life not one day goes past where I won't see sets of three or more numbers. It started at the clock I started s...

I Wanted to Be an Artist, So I Quit My Job and Became One

I had to share this article with you today, if I wrote something like this it would sound just the same... I Wanted to Be an Artist, So I Quit My Job and Became One by Christopher Fife. "Hi, I'm Christopher. I'm an artist." Exhale, run my fingers through my hair. "What do I do? Oh, I paint. I'm a painter. Yeah, I'm an artist." I tried it out every now and then, in front of the bathroom mirror. It sounded all right. But when I introduced myself as an artist outside my bathroom world of make-believe, I always felt false. I was like Magritte labeling a pipe. If I said I was an artist, I was an artist, right? Not exactly. Since I dedicated forty-plus hours a week to my corporate graphic design job, I was lucky if I painted a couple of hours a week. I came to despise myself for this self-deceit, for my inability to embrace what I really wanted to be. I wanted to be an artist. So I committed myself to becoming one. I started out like most people ...
