Day 12 of Creative Everyday Month - most recent accomplishment

That would have to be that I am 30 weeks pregnant and I created 101 things to do list today!
Here is a photo of my bump and my other perfect 2 year old bump hiding

I had such a fantastic relaxing day today, which I NEEDED!!! When you are a Mum you don't get to have needed breaks, imagine having an hour lunch break each day. I read a good article yesterday on newborns www.goddessguidebook.com/guide-to-newborn. It's amazing how you really don't get having a baby until it happens! Plus I'm not very good at asking for help, so I burn myself out and get really ratty. Hopefully this time I will ask for help and it will be a little bit easier on all of us. I'm really excited about our little man's arrival and today finished organising all his clothes, talk about being super organised!

Our little one put herself to bed early tonight, giving me a few extra hours up my sleeve so I have been poking around the net looking at stuff. I found this cool site that challenges you to do 101 goals in 1001 days. I have wanted to write a list for ages so it just pushed me along - dayzeroproject.com/user/Denita. I think it's pretty cool that a New Zealander created and owns the site. I'm looking forward to ticking off my list in 1001 days. There are some things that I would have never written on my list if it wasn't for the site like doing the 100 snap shot challenge, watch every film that Johnny Depp has been in, and receive cards from 20 different countries through Postcrossing.

My card for the day is
Flow in the current of love!

Whoo hoo...

I bought myself a new pillow today, I'm really looking forward to jumping into bed and reading.
Till tomorrow x x x x

Good-Bye Summer Family Ritual

For the past week I have been feeling the shift of seasons from summer into autumn. This has motivated me to c lean out closets, freshening up our home, make this summer photo collage, and created a family ritual. I find ritual really powerful it allows you the time to honour what has come before, say goodbye, and create intentions for what will come next. I've been poking around the internet and have found interesting articles on family summer rituals. Here are some of the suggestions I have read… Summertime is full of outdoor pursuits, so adding the outdoors into your ritual fits perfectly. Preserve summer fruits for the chilly months ahead. Engage in cooking or baking with summer ingredients. Shared a meal of seasonal food. Press summer flowers or herbs in books. Create a memory book of the past summer with photographs, ticket stubs, memorabilia, quotes, family jokes, poem, or anything else that reminds the family of fun times. Create a summer nature journal, detailing a

Art Every Day Month Day 7 - Encaustic Wax

I'm really enjoying blogging again, it's been years since I have written everyday. I used to do morning pages before I got pregnant, I have heaps of books full of my dribble. The Artist Way by Julia Cameron  got me into the morning pages! Every artist should own a copy of that book!  I was talking to a friend yesterday and she wanted me to order her a box of encaustic wax. I haven't done any encasutic for such a long time, so today was the day to dust off the cobwebs and get melting.  Here are my 2 creations for the day... Releasing my MADNESS!  Getting more into it without distractions Don't you love the texture wax makes! I have been looking for my cutter cause this card is too big and I just can't find it anywhere.  Here are some other pieces I have done, in the past with encaustic wax. This one was done with the iron on card. This one was done with the iron on card.  This one was done with the iron on card. This one was done with the iron on ca
