That month flew past so quickly!

I love writing in my blog! I couldn't wait to get to my computer and it's like 6am. I didn't turn my computer on yesterday so that maybe why I couldn't wait?

I mixed up all the old paint I had and it gave me a pinky colour and I painted one side of my studio and got some of the other side done but ran out of steam, hopefully I will have it finished today or tomorrow. It's amazing what a lick of paint will do. I have started rearranging everything as closing the gallery I have had to make room up here for everything to fit. I'm still not sure where the framing gear is going to go and how I am going to store the hundreds of paintings I have? I am lucky that I have a spare room to set the dark room up in but that will be last. I decided to have a party the end of October and want to have the place looking wicked. We haven't had a good party in ages! It gets so cold up here in winter.

I'm the luckiest girl! My beautiful husband bought me breakfast in bed yesterday and he cleaned my car for me and gave it a good polish which it was in great need of.

That car has been one of the best purchases in my life. My friends crack up that I have still got it but it's like a go kart and to replace it would be difficult, she runs on the smell of a oily rag and the price of petrol at the moment I just can't see the sense it selling her unless a spunky 911 was the replacement. I have always wanted a Porsche ever since I was a little girl, they are just so hot!

My sister rang me yesterday and we talked for and hour and 20 min it was good to catch up with all the gossip in the family. They must of spent the afternnon on bebo cause that sent me some pretty cool drawings http://www.bebo.com/Denita29 it feels like such a long time since I have hung out with them.

This photo was taken in my studio a month ago. They are some pretty cool people Maka, Stefano, Dan and Sonya. They were enjoying the sun after having finished a beautiful breakfast that Sonya was kind enough to make for all of us. I had only meet Dan and Sonya night before and everyone stayed over and we had a great night. Look at Ralphie waiting for food to fall on the ground hahaha.

I love hanging out with Maka it's like being with an old school friend and we are just silly girls which I think everyone needs in their life because life can be just to dam serious!

Here is something to make you smile:

These 16 Police Comments were taken off actual police car videos:

#16 "You know, stop lights don't come any redder than the one you just went through."
#15 "Relax, the handcuffs are tight because they're new. They'll stretch after you wear them a while."
#14 "If you take your hands off the car, I'll make your birth certificate a worthless document."
#13 "If you run, you'll only go to jail tired."
#12 "Can you run faster than 1200 feet per second? Because that's the speed of the bullet that'll be chasing you."
#11 "You don't know how fast you were going? I guess that means I can write anything I want to on the ticket, huh?"
#10 "Yes, sir, you can talk to the shift supervisor, but I don't think it will help. Oh, did I mention that I'm the shift supervisor?"
#9 "Warning! You want a warning? O.K., I'm warning you not to do that again, or I'll give you another ticket."
#8 "The answer to this last question will determine whether you are drunk or not. Was Mickey Mouse a cat or a dog?"
#7 "Fair? You want me to be fair? Listen, fair is a place where you go to ride on rides, eat cotton candy and corn dogs and step in monkey crap."
#6 "Yeah, we have a quota. Two more tickets and my wife gets a toaster oven."
#5 "In God we trust, all others we run through NCIC."
#4 "How big were those 'Just two beers' you say you had?"
#3 "No sir, we don't have quotas anymore. We used to, but now we're allowed to write as many tickets as we can."
#2 "I'm glad to hear that Chief (of Police) is a personal friend of yours, so you know someone who can post your bail."

AND THE WINNER IS...

#1 "You didn't think we give pretty women tickets? You're right, we don't.

My message for the day was: If you do not fully believe in us, you will know that we are real after asking for and receiving our help two or three times.

Good-Bye Summer Family Ritual

For the past week I have been feeling the shift of seasons from summer into autumn. This has motivated me to c lean out closets, freshening up our home, make this summer photo collage, and created a family ritual. I find ritual really powerful it allows you the time to honour what has come before, say goodbye, and create intentions for what will come next. I've been poking around the internet and have found interesting articles on family summer rituals. Here are some of the suggestions I have read… Summertime is full of outdoor pursuits, so adding the outdoors into your ritual fits perfectly. Preserve summer fruits for the chilly months ahead. Engage in cooking or baking with summer ingredients. Shared a meal of seasonal food. Press summer flowers or herbs in books. Create a memory book of the past summer with photographs, ticket stubs, memorabilia, quotes, family jokes, poem, or anything else that reminds the family of fun times. Create a summer nature journal, detailing a
